Essential Dressings

Award-winning chef Kevin Capper first realised he had a talent for making delicious, home-made dressings when customers at his restaurant kept asking for his recipes. This finally persuaded him to start his own business, Essential Dressings, in 2005, based in Tenbury Wells.

Home-made really means home-made when it comes to Essential Dressings – Kevin works on his own, painstakingly stirring small batches of ingredients, dispensing products into jars and bottles and even hand-labelling them!  Ingredients are all natural, with no artificial preservatives or colourings, and supplied by local producers where possible.

As well as salad dressings, which include, French, Italian, sweet mustard and dill, Kevin makes dips, such as his red pepper and tomato dip, drizzles such as chilli, ginger and lemongrass, and sauces, which include luxury chocolate fudge, Bramley apple, and English mint.

The contemporary looking jars and bottles look great on any dinner table and are the perfect complement to a home-cooked meal if you can’t find the time to whip up your own sauce!
