We would like to thank everyone concerned who worked so hard to make Tuesday's Taste Club event at The Manor House Hotel so enjoyable. It is also pleasing to know that the evening raised significant funds for the worthy CLIC Sargent charity .Mr & Mrs I Robinson
Dear Mr and Mrs Robinson,
Thank you so much for your email, and so glad to hear how much you enjoyed the evening. £1600 is a fantastic amount to raise for such an amazing charity, so thank you for your support.
I've been a customer of the Moreton branch of Budgens for over 20 years and, following a recent incident there, I felt compelled to get in contact with you. On Friday 24th August, after I'd been through the check out, I had the misfortune to place my bag down too heavily on the floor...I heard a crack & put my hand in to check...I hadn't realised but a bottle of olive oil had been broken and my fingertips were cut on the broken glass which, in turn, left a regrettable mix of olive oil & blood seeping through the fabric bag. I felt mortified! I'm slightly incapacitated and was so grateful to an employee, Christine, who was called as a first aider, that I felt I must get in touch to offer my sincere thanks for her presence of mind, kindness & competence...it greatly alleviated my embarrassment and I'm so grateful for that.Judith
Thank you so much for taking the time to get in touch. It’s not often people tell us about good experiences, so we certainly appreciate it. I have passed your thanks onto Christine, and ensured that both our Operations Director and Store Owner are aware of your feedback.
I hope you are fully recovered now.
At present we are on holiday at Murcot near to Broadway. On these holidays away from home and getting out and about each day we generally stock up at the closest Waitrose Store en-route, as we did this time at Alcester. A few essential goodies in the self catering cottage for those times when we decide to eat in. And then, we found Budgens tucked away off the Main Street of Broadway. Not knowing where Budgens lay between all of the well known supermarket chains. What a revelation to find an independent store closer to that that of Booths of Ilkley. There will be no need to stop off at a Waitrose on our next trip to this wonderful area. Your store just makes Broadway even better.David Langstraat
Dear Mr Langstraat,
Thank you so much for your very kind email, which made lovely reading! So pleased to hear that you enjoyed shopping with us, and we look forward to welcoming you next time you are visiting.
I have passed your kind words onto both the store manager and his team, and the store owner, Guy Warner.
May I say how kind and helpful Joyce was today. My car refused to work after I had been in the store. I had left my mobile at home foolishly, so she let me use the phone to SOS my husband in Blockley. I was fortunate that two of your customers knew me and offered to give me a lift home. Joyce arranged for the car not to get a parking ticket, whilst my husband and I tried (in vain) to get the AA. In the end our garage in Alderminster galloped to the rescue and we managed to get the car going! I went to tell Joyce and to thank her for her kindness. What a great member of staff she is!!!Elizabeth
Thank you for your email regarding Joyce. It is not often that customers take the time to get in touch about something positive, so your email is much appreciated. I have taken the opportunity to thank Joyce for her efforts and given her a voucher as a gesture of my appreciation.
I would like to send a big thank you to the kind members of staff at your Winchcome store who were so helpful after I had tripped and fallen outside the store this lunchtime. They found me a seat, sticking plasters and made me a cup of very welcome tea.. I looked for them before I left the store so that I could thank them personally but could not see them. Gratefully, SheilaSheila
Hope you are feeling a lot better now Sheila, and glad the team were so helpful.
I am writing to let you know that I received fantastic customer service today at your Bidford store. I came to collect my Polish currency from the Post Office which is located within the store. I hadn't been able to collect it before because of being snowed in. As I am going to Poland tomorrow I decided to take the risk and drive in. Unfortunately the Post Office was closed because staff had not been able to get in. The manager went out of his way to ensure that I got my currency. He contacted the post office manager to see if he could get in to the store, and as it would take him about an hour, he offered to deliver the currency to my home after the store closed. However the post office manager talked him through how to access the money and record the transaction. I wanted to let you know how impressed I am by your manager's attitude and professionalism. He was brilliant.G. Lopeman
Thanks for the lovely feedback. So glad we were able to help!
I bought an Adlington Turkey from you this year and it was brilliant, from packaging, cooking instructions and taste!! I’d never used a temperature popper before which was supplied with the turkey, and I was most impressed. I’ll definitely be buying one from you next year. Jo LoveJo Love
Thank you for your feedback - so great to hear how pleased your were with the turkey! I will pass your comments onto Adlington as well, as I know they will be delighted to read it!
Good evening, Earlier we passed through Moreton and by chance stopped at your Budgens store and bought some Todenham steak. I have to say having now cooked it is some of the beat steak I have ever had. I must complement you on you local suppliers. Thanks again, John and DianeJohn & Diane
Many thanks for your lovely feedback, and for taking the time to get in touch. I've passed your comments onto the owner of Todenham Manor Farm, Irayne, as I know she will be pleased to hear them.
Stow-on-the-Wold and District RFC would like to thank you for sponsoring our recent Local Schools Oneday Funday – an introduction to tag rugby. The Funday was a very successful event, with 184 children from 13 local schools, all from within 10 miles of the club taking part in a tag rugby Funday, where Fairplay points were awarded by referees from Hartpury college in Gloucester, to teams displaying the core values of rugby. We are pleased to let you know that the food and drinks packages per team went down very well, with teachers, parents and the kids on registering their teams at the event. Please give my thanks also to Lucy Worrall and Darren Honer for assisting on the day with the set-up and Fairplay trophies presentations. Many thanks again for your sponsorship of Stow-on-the-Wold and District RFC. Best wishes,Andrew Bayliss
We were delighted to be involved with the Fun day, and it was brilliant to see all the children having so much fun playing tag rugby. We've also heard some great feedback from parents, so well done on organising such a great day!
Would like to thank Sharon at the shell garage Bristol road Gloucester for helping my mother her customer service was outstanding, she was polite, happy and made my mother feel very special, so a big thankyou sharonLucy sparks
Thank you for your lovely feedback, which has been passed onto Sharon, and Oli the store manager!
I must offer my congratulations for the look of the Bidford store, it was immaculate, the food was nicely laid out and look fresh and appetising. Mum said that she wished she had a store like this were she lives (Leatherhead, Surrey). We have most of the leading supermarkets in and around our area, but none could compare with yours, or your staff.Mr and Mrs Martin
Thank you very much for your email.
It is not often that people take the time to get in touch with something positive, but find it easy to complain, so we are so grateful that you have taken the time to get in touch. Thank you so much for your lovely feedback about the store.
We look forward to seeing you if you are ever in the area again.
Just wanted to thank you for all your help and care and involvement in last weeks bread project at St.Davids school with La Parisienne bakery. My son is one of the year 6s who took part and really enjoyed the experience. What a wonderful opportunity for all the children. Many thanks again
Thank you so much for your email. We love taking part in the bread project each year, and really enjoyed tasting some delicious bread!
Hello,I would like to sing the praises of a member of your staff - Jack. He has been most helpful and accommodating and looked for a solution to my problem (arranging postage of 2 bottles for a present for someone who is having rather a bad time of things). Fantastic service - he has made my day. Many thanks, JulieJulie
Thank you for your lovely email, so nice to receive such great feedback! I have made sure that Jack has seen it!
We live over 30 miles from the nearest Warners Budgens store (Moreton-in-Marsh) but are happy to regularly travel this distance for the pleasure of the shopping experience. There is no doubt in our minds that Warners Budgens is THE best food retailer in the UK - great choice, superb displays and friendly knowledgeable staff. Other food retailers could learn a lot from Warners Budgens.Matthew Wright
Thank you so much for taking the time to pass on such lovely feedback - we are so pleased you are happy to travel such a distance to shop with us! I have shared your comments with the store team.
Hi, I am a regular shopper at your Winchcombe shop, I have been in alot of pain recently and can't carry too much shopping. Your staff have been very caring and even carried my shopping to the car for me. I have had my operation now and I'm going home today and I'm sure your staff will continue to be as kind as before my operation. Just wanted to let you know and to thank you. Kind regards AmandaTurnerAmanda Turner
Many thanks for your lovely email, I hope you are on the mend very soon and we look forward to seeing you back in the store.
I would like you to pass on a message to the member of staff I was served by this evening, his name is Anthony I believe!! He was on the customer service desk and was extremely friendly when we came with our shopping, and even helped my son stack up the shopping on his arms (as we didn't want a bag!!), he was absolutely lovely and I would like him to personally receive the praise he deserves for being so lovely, it's nice to have someone who makes you feel like a really valued customer and I think he did a marvellous job!! Many thanksDenise Gillett
Many thanks for your lovely email, I have made sure your kind comments have been passed onto Anthony.
Well done to Budgens MiM. You have a great stock and range of beers, wines and spirits and always a good deal on wines. Also it is very refreshing and satisfying to see you(distinctly so amongst others) selling local bottled Cotswold lager and beers. It is nice to see. Periodic Budgens shopperAdrian Patrick
Thanks for the lovely message, so glad you like our range and offers.
Thank you so much for sorting out the donation from Warner’s Budgen of the refreshments for our garden party on Tuesday. Despite the weather earlier in the day, it did dry up and we had a lovely time. We are so grateful for your support and for helping us to spoil out clients and volunteers who get so much out of these social get-togethers. Your kindness really is appreciated and helped us immensely. Thank you again,Sheryl Murray
So glad we were able to help out and great to hear you had a lovely afternoon.
The Winchcombe show was hugely successful this year. We estimate over 5,000 people came. We raised over £15,000 for local good causes. Thank you so much for your support and we hope you may consider this again next year. We would welcome any feedback you may have. We distribute the money raised to local good causes. If there is anything in particular you would like us to consider, please let me know.John Harkness
Thanks for your email. So pleased to have been involved in our first year in the town and that you had such a great day!
On behalf of my committee, and the residents of Honeybourne many thanks for your very kind donation towards our new Community Centre. The project is still a little way down the road but we are confident we will be able to provide Honeybourne with a new much needed Community Centre.rnrnThank you for your generous support at this time. rnRichard Kendrick
So glad that we were able to support you through our Community Savings Scheme. Good luck with the rest of the fundraising!
I feel inspired to contact you after visiting your store in Swanage (Dorset) and more recently in Broadway (Cotswolds) over the weekend. My husband and I visited several times to pick up various provisions during a recent camping trip. What a fantastic experience we had, every time! Polite, friendly and helpful staff, amazingly fresh and varied produce and we even enjoyed complimentary tasters throughout the Broadway store! A refreshingly well run convenience store which puts most well known larger supermarket chains to shame! Thank you Budgens from two fairly new but now very loyal customers, Annie & Steve :-)rnAnnie Whitt
Thank you so much for your lovely email. All Budgens stores are independently owned, and our Broadway store is part of the 'Warner's Budgens' group all located in the Cotswolds. I have passed your email on to the Swanage store as well, as I am sure they will be pleased to receive it.
I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you again for allowing us to collect at Budgens over the weekend. The event was successful (although tiring) and we have raised over £1300 already with more coming in!! Budgen's support really helped to make this event better and I am forever grateful for that. I would also like to thank the duty manager at Bidford Budgens who was also really kind, friendly and helpful. Best Wishes, Simon Handy.Simon Handy
So glad to hear it went well Simon, and congratulations on raising such a great amount of money!
Hi, I was unfortunately taken ill in your Winchcombe store earlier today. I would just like to say that your assistant Alison went out of her way to help me including walking me home. I am very grateful to her and thought you should know. RegardsMrs S Cannon
Thank you for taking the time to get in touch, and for your kind words which have been passed onto Alison. I hope you are feeling much better now.
I would just like to say how excellent the service is by Val and the team in the Subway section of your Quedgeley shop. Thus so that I now go out of my way to use this Subway and as a direct result regularly filling my van up with fuel and using the shop. Val and the team do you a great justice as a business and deserve some recognition, I actually enjoy coming in on the mornings, it's a good start to my day. Kind regards GavinGavin Jenkins
Thank you for your email - and for taking the time to pass on such great feedback about Val and the team. I will make sure that they see it!
I would just like to say a big 'THANK YOU' to Guy Warner for the excellent standards of the 'Car Wash' at Budgens, Bristol Road, Gloucester, for this on-going quality top car wash at such a great price.John Turpin
Each and every time, it gives a great feeling to leave the car wash with my Motability 2 year old VW Tiguan shining like a new pin, and stays in pristine condition in adverse weather conditions, and still remains in a gleaming finish with the car wash wax applied after many miles of motoring..
After a recent journey of a 1,000 miles + on mainland Europe, in not the best of weather, the result of the Warner's Budgen's car wash at Bristol Road, Gloucester, prior to leaving for Europe - proved to be money well spent.
Having now returned home, the car is due for another birthday present.
( another Budgen's car wash ).
Many thanks for yet another online car wash voucher ( via email ) upon my return, I will be popping into Budgen's Bristol Road, Gloucester very shortly with my great value voucher.
Such a great email to read - thank you for the feedback, and hope your car enjoys it's 'Birthday present'!
Thank you so much to you and Mick, the Store Manager for allowing Warwickshire Search and Reasuce to do a charity collection outside of the Bidford-On-Avon store on Saturday 16th January. It was a pretty cold day but the locals were so engaging and generous and we raised an amazing £365.08 for our team funds. This money will go towards keeping our team operational and being able to provide a much needed resource to the local community.Warwickshire Search & Rescue
After recently visiting the Quedgeley branch while passing through Gloucester after a week away I was served by a very pleasant, polite and cheerful woman, bear in mind this was early in the morning so perhaps not the brightest part of day for most however, she showed great loyalty to the company by being so lovely to me and my wife. This lady was called Sharon. Thank you Sharon for being so helpful.Mr Fosley
Thank you Mr Fosley for such a lovely email, and your kind words about Sharon. I have passed your comments on to her.
To the manager,Mr and Mrs Fleuty
We were driving through the area - from Leamington Spa to Devizes - on Boxing day and came to your coffee shop for breakfast about 09.30.
Firstly we were surprised and delighted to find it open, and fully open
Secondly but in fact more important we would like to recommend most highly the young men working there.
They were most efficient and helpful. They were professional in their dealings with the public and produced delicious bacon baps and coffee - piping hot!
Please pass on these comments to them
We will recommend this stop on the Fosse way to anybody!
Mr and Mrs Fleuty
Thanks for a lovely message - which have been passed onto the SOHO team. We look forward to welcoming you again soon!
Dear Guy Warner.. I run a business from home and use your post office all the time, usually frantically getting work off at the last minute. Your staff are without exception, unfailingly effecient, pleasant and patient... they are a fantastic team, and provide a truly excellent service.I hope you are giving them a Christmas bonus !.. they really earn it..Dora Leonard
Thanks so much for the fantastic feedback - the staff have all worked really hard, so they will appreciate your comments!
Can I just say that I have recently discovered your out of hours Post Office Service-amazing! I have been served by Daniel both times. He was incredibly Professional and knowledgable and is a credit to your store!Gina Disney
Thank you for your lovely words, which are much appreciated. I have passed them onto the store manager and Daniel.
Dear Mr Warner,Mrs Archibald
We would like to pass on our appreciation of your staff and store which we visited really by default last Saturday afternoon as we could not face the literally miles of queueing traffic on the road to Stow. We had not been in the store for years.
We were wet, cold, hungry and tired and expecting little more than being able to pick up a few basics.
How wrong we were.
First of all please pass on our thanks to the young person on the Cheese/Patisserie counter for their patience, good humour and knowledge especially when faced wit a dithery "older" couple.
I was beginning to be won over.
Our Raspberry tarts were delicious and the pastry perfect and after tasting the cheese on offer went home with Beauvale? It speaks for itself in that it has not ended up at the back of the fridge to be retrieved at some future date
Having come in for a few basics to tide us over we went out with slightly more. Our Cotswold Farmer Chicken and leek pie was packed with contents, the pastry just right . One request though. The detailed list of ingredients was fine but I could see no cooking instructions. I made a guess based on experience but it would be great to be able to get it just right to make the best of the hard work put in.
We were also impressed by the spacious wine and Spirits section, the competitive pricing of eg Charlie Bigham compared with our local "posh" supermarket and the overall layout and cleanliness of your store.
We will be back but next time by intent.
Please pass on our appreciation to the young person on the Cheese section- who must have been dead on her legs at the end of a long day, who was our first impression of the store and the young man on checkout.
We were also impressed by your Newsletter -albeit it was an Autumn edition, and all that you do in and for the Community
I hope you are not too tired to enjoy Christmas when it comes.
We will be back and hope to add in a visit to SOHO coffee shop which we somehow managed to miss!
Wow! Thank you for your lovely email, which was a pleasure to read. I have passed your comments onto the team, particularly the two members of staff you particularly mention. We look forward to welcoming you again soon!
Thank you for the notification on carrier bags regarding the charges which will take place on 5 Oct, 2015, and will apply to all stores throughout England. I appreciate that this is not the doing of Warner BUDGENS, but that of the Government , irrespective of ones' views on the reason for doing so.John Watkins
This will not affect my choice of using Warner BUDGENS, Quedgeley, Gloucester to shop at or visit for car wash etcetera. In fact it is very good of you to notify your customers of this new charge, and that the proceeds will go to charity.
Thanks for your feedback. It is great to hear.
I know we have spoken in the shop but I wanted to email to say thank you once again for the marvellous food hamper raffle prize which you kindly donated to the Minerva Charity Ball which took place last Friday, the 25th September.Karen
You will be pleased to learn I’m sure that the raffle prizes and silent auction raised over £1200 on the night and when combined with other donations we will be able to give The Fire Fighters Charity and The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity £1000 each, which is wonderful.
Once again thank you so much for your support.
So glad we were able to help, well done on raising such a huge amount!
I am writing to thank everybody involved in raising the £475.16 presented to me on 4th September.Karen
The support we receive from local people and organisations means so much to us, not only for the money which we always need, but also for the affirmation of our service.
To give you an idea about the coming year for Kate’s, we estimate that we will provide around 5,000 hours of nursing care for 75 to 80 patients and provide support for their families and carers. This is expected to cost the charity in the region of £275,000 and although we hope to receive a grant from the NHS, most of the money will need to come from donations and the fund raising activities of our committee and local people.
So, as you can see, your donation will help to ensure that our team of dedicated nurses can continue to offer our patients and their families the very best nursing care and support and we are extremely grateful to you for this.
Thank you again, on behalf of Kate’s, our patients and their families.
So pleased we were able to support such an amazing charity through out Community Savings Scheme, and that the money will be put to such great use.
I am writing to thank-you to you for your sponsorship of the Honeybourne Village Show..Rita
I am pleased to say that we will have raised approximately £2,700 towards a new Community Centre in Honeybourne, a really fantastic amount. Just as important is the support we got from our community, we had over 300 exhibits in the Show Tent and nearly 500 adults through the gate, with children and sponsors added in we probably had close to 700 there.
Thank-you again, we are very grateful for your sponsorship.
on behalf of the Honeybourne Village Show Sub- Committee
So great to hear how much you raised, and glad we were able to help!
I called into Tewkesbury branch today on my home from work, I got all my shopping I needed and when I got surved I was stunned to see how polite Danni was to me, her manners was very good, it is very rare to see such good customersurvice. I'd really appreciate it if you could pass this little message back to her?.
Many thanks Zac
Thanks for your great feedback, which is fantastic to hear. I have passed your comments onto Oli, the store manager and asked him to let Danni know.
A big thank you to Warner Budgens for once again providing a great prize for the Todenham village summer fete raffle it really is very much appreciated. The Fete itself was exceptionally good this year very well supported and with a good party atmosphere thanks in part to the good weather on the day. The raffle raised over £1100 and the event in total more than £3500 that will go once again to the village hall and St Thomas a Becket church making it a particularly good year.Ted
Wow, what a fantastic amount to raise! Glad we were able to help.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and Budgens for all the Pimm’s and bits for our fete, we had a great day and the weather for once was on our side, still adding up what we made so will keep you posted. We had a couple of bottles left over and have donated them to the village school as they have a production on tonight and tomorrow raising money for the school, I made them aware that Budgen’s are the ones to thank so hope you don’t mind!Amy
I will let you know as soon as I have a total raised so you know what you contributed to – everyone was overwhelmed how generous the store has been.
Speak soon and thanks again
Thanks Amy - so glad we were able to help, and looking forward to hearing how much you raised.
Despite the bad weather on our fete day we decided to go ahead and despite the rain we made a reasonable profit to distribute to local organisations.Angela
The majority of the funds raised are for the two buildings in our village, namely the village hall and St Paul's church which are used by all.
However, I thought you would like to know that we have sent cheques of £150 each to both the Moreton Cubs and Scouts and £100 to St David's School in Moreton for their orchestra fund.
Thank you so much once again for your very generous, and beautifully packaged hamper for our raffle.
With best wishes,
Thanks Angela, glad to hear it went well despite the crazy English weather! We were happy to help....
We have just returned from the Budgens summer lunch at the Broadway Hotel. It was our first event with you and it certainly won't be our last. The food and the wine were delicious and we will not require a meal tonight, that is for sure! So thank you to Budgens and the Broadway Hotel - we had a really lovely time.Karen Chandler
Thanks Karen for your lovely words - so glad you were able to attend, and great to meet you! Look forward to seeing you at the next event!
I have just had one of your ham and cheese quiches and it was delicious! I'm a quiche snob and wouldn't normally buy it, but one of my hands is in plaster so I was looking for something easy for my supper. I wasn't just surprised, but delighted too. Thanks, Kimkim sergeant
Thanks for your message - that's great to hear. Which brand was it that you bought?
I would like to thank you for supporting the buffet fot my fundraiser. We had a very successful event on Wednesday raising £180.00 for Shakespeare Hospice at the Scalextric Race Night.Marion Allison
Thank you for your support. It is very much appreciated.
So glad we were able to help, and that you raised so much money for a great cause.
Just a quick note to say a big thank you to Budgens for your donation of a voucher for our recent fundraising event. The event raised over £750 for 2 local charities, Kingfishers playgroup and the Rafiki Thabo Foundation, and we are very grateful for your support.Janet
Thanks for your feedback - glad we were able to help - well done on raising such a great amount!
Thank you for supporting First Broadway Guides through your Community Savings Scheme. It is great that you support local groups and amenities.Kate Pocock
Hope the Guides enjoy their new tents this Summer!
Well done on getting a car wash up and running. The ladies and gents manning it are very efficient and polite and have done an excellent job very quickly on a very muddy car. Makes it very convenient getting the car washed when popping into the store.OJB
Thanks so much for the great feedback. We are really pleased with how well the car wash is going, and the team are definitely doing a fabulous job! I will make sure your comments are passed onto them.
Thank you so much to you and your staff for your generous donation towards our leaves for learning school room project. I’ve signed away a £10K deposit and fingers crossed it will be up and built within the next six weeks. To date we have raised £46K which means we can put the building up and start to kit it out.Stuart Priest

Thanks to all our Moreton customers who chose to put their green tokens in the Community Savings Scheme collecting box for Leaves for Learning. We have just donated £503.25 towards the outdoor classroom.
I just wanted to say how fabulous Julie from your Moreton store is. I'd forgotten to pack some shopping the previous week and she had put it to one side for me and remembered me when I'd popped in one evening. Great customer service - thank you!Charlotte
Thanks for your great comments - so good to hear!
Love your lovely baby sprouts! Best we've ever tasted. Even the grandchildren love them. Sweet, quick to cook, lovely with chestnuts fried gently as well as on their own. We eat loads!! Keep them coming. ThankyouSandi Snelling
Glad to hear you like them! Unfortunately it will be the end of the sprout season soon, but we will keep them going as long as we can!!
Will there be Car Wash Club membership at Moreton-in-Marsh store now ?Mark Jones
Thanks for your question - it is certainly something we are looking at for 2015, so watch this space!
On behalf of the Community Awareness committee, I would like to thank you most sincerely for providing us with the opportunity of taking part in your Community Savings Scheme this year, and for the very generous cheque with which you presented us.Community Awareness
We would also like to thank your supportive customers who kindly donated the tokens to our cause. Every penny of the funds raised will be used to help the children of families in our immediate area whose parents are struggling financially to provide the everyday essential items their children need, and which most of us take for granted.
Thank you, once again, for supporting Community Awareness in this way.
With kindest regards
Thanks for your lovely letter - we are very pleased that we, and our customers, have been able to help. You can read more about it here: http://www.warnersbudgens.co.uk/supermarket-news.php?giving-families-a-little-bit-extra
We are very happy with the service we receive at Budgens. However, we do not like the new style milk containers. We buy the 2 pint size and the new style container is more flimsy, does not fit as easily into the fridge door compartment, and when it is full it does not pour cleanly. Why was the container altered? In our opinion, the old style container was far superior!Ann Cooper
Thanks for your email, and for your feedback regarding the new style milk containers. Unfortunately, this isn't something that we have any input into as we buy all our milk through Musgrave, our wholesaler. I have to say however, that I do agree with your comments! But I have noticed that milk containers purchased from other stores have also moved over to this new style.
I have forwarded your email onto their customer service team who will be in contact with you directly with some feedback.
Just wanted to say I love your new "Catch of the Day" case at Moreton! Bought dressed crab today and it was delish! It all looks and sounds v. enticing - well done!Naomi
Thanks for your lovely feedback - hope you enjoy some other 'Catch of the Day' goodies soon!
May I thank you and Warner Budgens for again providing a major prize for the Todenham Summer Raffle it really is appreciated. This is such an important contribution towards our fund raising to help maintain our village church and village hall. Please pass on my thanks to Jerry and all those involved at Warne Budgens. We had a great afternoon with very hot weather and plenty of things to do for all those who came along. In all we have made a clear £3000 and the raffle contributes nearly half of this amount.Ted Ayres
With very many thanks
Grand Draw Organiser
Glad we were able to help!
I would like to say a BIG thank you for your kind donation for our raffle that helped make Broom Open Gardens a great success.Kay Spence
Through everyone’s generosity, we achieved an amazing sum of money, raising £1594, that we have split equally between 2 great local causes:
• The Friends of Bidford Health Centre (FBHC) - This will help the practice to purchase additional equipment that is not funded through the NHS
• The Broom Village Hall - This will help us to maintain and improve our local community building / services.
Once again, a Big Thank You.
Thank you very much for your kind and generous donations of bananas and energy bars for our Spring 6mile Run, Walk at Walton hall on the 6th April.Rebecca Mawle
We are nearing £1,000 raised on entries alone and with sponsorship money still to come in, we’re looking at a total in excess of £1,500 raised for this event, a fantastic result.
The day was a great success, dry but challenging under foot. We had 5 teams enter this year all competing for the Sheldon Bosley cup, which was won by a team from the army.
Look out for next year’s date and perhaps you might like to enter a team and win the cup. We very much look forward to working with you again.
Thank you for your amazing support for Shipston Home Nursing, it is enormously helpful in raising the valuable funds we need.
We are so glad that you had a very successful day and we're happy that we were able to assist you in this worthwhile event.
Please could I offer my congratulations and thanks on your choice of management and staff for the above store. I visit here two or three times during the course of one week per year - when we visit for the Cheltenham Festival each March and rent a cottage in Broadway for the week. I was certain last year that I imagined the greeting in store as being one of recognition and had merely mis-read a very professional approach when dealing with customers. This year I KNOW I had been remembered! If this was due to being a particularly awkward customer (who also unfortunately returns annually) there was certainly no show of that!Vee Bentley
The shop is always, clean, tidy, well stocked and competitively priced. The fresh produce are always very fresh and of a very high standard. Your first rate produce are still, however, outshone by your amazing staff! Polite, professional, helpful, knowledgeable and SMILING!!!
Thank you. Please open a store in Deal.
Thank you very much for the lovely email that you sent to Musgrave, which they have passed onto us here at Warner’s Budgens in Broadway. It is not often that people take the time to write when they have had a positive experience, so it is great to be able to pass this onto the team. We look forward to welcoming you again next year!
I would like to say a big thank you for your kind donation. To the vale of Evesham YFC charity Skittles on 21/2/14 at the Snowshill Arms.Megan Beynon-Brown
We made £570 that is all going to be sent down to the Flooded Somerset farmers.
Once again Thank you very much.
Thanks for your email. Glad we were able to help with a raffle prize.
Just a quick note to say many thanks for the kind donation you gave for our Christmas Bingo fundraiser. We were incredibly pleased with the £445 we raised on the evening. We have been able to buy two touch screen learning pads for the children and pay for the coach to take our children on their end of year outing to the theatre in June 2014. With the money we have left we are planning to update some of our safety equipment within our setting.Chipping Campden Preschool Playgroup
Without your kind generosity we could not have raised so much much needed cash.
Many many thanks
So glad we were able to help!
On behalf of everyone associated with Broadway First School I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support with our fund raising Race Night on Friday 4th October.Clark Grant
Our 2nd rage night was an amazing success. Not only did we raise an amazing £2,700 for school good causes, but everyone had a great fun evening. Snail & pig races, tradtional horse races, complimentary Indian snacks, an amazing auction and a great little boogie towards the end made it a fantastic evening.
None of this would have been possible without the great support we received from all our supporters. Thank you once again for your generous support.
That is an amazing amount to raise in one evening! Glad we were able to support you.
On behalf of St.Andrews Church, Cleeve Prior I would like to thank you at Budgens for supporting our raffle in aid of McMillan Nurses at our recent Coffee Morning. It was very successful raising over £400.Your help was very much appreciated.Annette Carless
Glad to hear that you had a great morning, and raised so much money!
Hello - I regularly use the Broadway store, and find it absolutely brilliant! But please, what has happened to the 'Cotswold Butcher' Sundried Tomato sausages, and the Italian with Fennel? We love them both! Please bring them back.Sharon Mears
We also love the Saucy Fish Company products - we hope they will maybe bring out some new combinations.
With kind regards,
Thanks for your email, and for your kind words - great to hear! The Cotswold Farmer changes their 'sausage of the week' very regularly, and the Sun-dried tomato and the Italian are part of their sausage of the week range. Unfortunately this means that they aren't available every week, but I am pleased to say that the Sun-dried tomato sausages will be available this week, so keep your eye our for them!
Glad you like the Saucy Fish Company products, I agree, they are great! More good news - they are going on promotion from October 10th, any 2 for £7!
Thank you for your feedback.
I would very much like to thank you, Guy, Damien,Thierry and all the team for the absolutely fantastic support you have given to St Mary's this year. We so appreciate all that you do for us. Bread week is such an inspirational week, the children get so many skills from it. Thank you for all the many donations towards our fundraising events.Sarah Munn
I hope you have a great summer and very much look forward to working with you again in September.
With very best wishes
St Mary's School
I was lucky enough to win a voucher for a celebration cake at the recent event that you held in the Moreton store in aid of Macmillan nurses. Nicky, who made the cake, delivered it to my house this weekend and I can report that my family throughly enjoyed it! Many thanks to you all. JoJo Brooks
Thanks Jo, so glad you enjoyed it. Our raffle and bag packing for Macmillan raised over £1000!
Please could you stock some gluten-free crackers, including in the smaller Warner's Budgens.Rachel
Mrs Crimbles gluten-free crackers seem to be popular for health-conscious people, as well as the necessary gluten-free people. Thanks!
You will be pleased to know that our Broadway store are now stocking Mrs Crimbles gluten-free rosemary & onion crackers, and cheese bites. They may not be on the shelf quite yet, as space needs to be made, but if you ask for some, a member of staff will be able to get some for you.
Just wanted to say once again a big thank you to Warner's Budgens for the hamper donated for the Broadwell & Donnington fete raffle. It was an absolutely amazing hamper and I am disappointed that I didn't win it! I thought you might like to know that we had a great day and we have made a profit of £2,700 which we will distribute to various local charities - village hall, village church, Moreton Cubs and Scouts, etc.Angela
With best wishes,
Wow, what an amazing amount to raise! So pleased we were able to help you.
Many thanks for the hamper for our Bingo evening at Moreton-in-Marsh playgroup. It was very popular. A lady from Todenham won it I believe. We raised about £400 on the evening which will be very good for our fundraising this term.Nicola
Sounds like you had a great evening, glad we were able to help you out with a raffle prize.
I was lucky enough to win tickets in your Prize Draw for the Rose Hamson Flower Demonstration at the Manor House Hotel. Thank you so much for a lovely evening !Jo Brooks
We are so glad you enjoyed it! We had a lovely evening as well.
Thank you very much from all at Broadway Youth Club for your support with the Community Savings Scheme. We look forward to the cooking, all the children like to get involved. It will be good to show them something new.Carol Halling
We are so glad that we have been able to support the Youth Club with a cheque from our Community Savings Scheme - we are looking forward to trying out some of the yummy food creations made by the children!
We wanted to send a huge thank you to you and all at Warners Budgen's, for giving us and our volunteers the opportunity to come along and fund raise on Saturday 26th.The Fair Shares Team
We had a heap of fun and our volunteers in particular enjoyed getting out and about and meeting people in their local town that they didn't know previously.
We also managed to raise a whopping £280.02! We couldn't believe the response and the generosity of the public.
So thanks again for giving us the opportunity and maybe we will do it again sometime.
The Fair Shares Team.
So glad it was a good day, and thank you to our customers for supporting you!
Hello, just wondering what's happened to the lovely Burford Brown Eggs? They are the best! :-) Also, the new location of the eggs range makes it slightly awkward to see and select the 'pick your own' eggs as they are fairly high up on the shelf...Lesley Bray
Kind regards, Lesley Bray.
Thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately, Musgrave (the owner of the Budgens brand) have taken the decision to change egg supplier, and we are no longer able to get the Burford Brown eggs. We are really disappointed about this, as they have been really good sellers for us! We have a replacement, called Posh Birds Brown Eggs, which I hope will be as good. This product is available in store now.
Thanks for your feedback about the 'pick your own' eggs - you aren't the first person to say this, so it is something we will be looking at again, and will do our best to improve on.
I have been meaning to write since first visiting your store on 30 November.Deborah
New to the area, I was certain from its presentation and appearance that your shop had opened only recently. When I questioned your staff member at the cashpoint, she explained the store had been open some years! You are to be congratulated on running such a welcoming, immaculate, bright, beautifully stocked and well-organised establishment it is absolutely super and a credit to you.
Thank you for your kind comments, which I will make sure are passed onto the store team. It is great to receive such positive feedback about our store.
I did enjoy my "Trolley Dash" in your Moreton store on Monday. I was very grateful to Guy Warner for all his help, without him I wouldn't have got very far! We had a delicious supper of SuperValue sirloin steak in the evening and tonight we shall share more SuperValu delicacies with friends. Thank you all very much. Gill O'NeillGill O'Neill
So glad you enjoyed it Gill! Enjoy the food!!
We have just enjoyed our Sunday dinner, and the main ingredient was the Simple Suppers Pork and Apple Sausages. They are so tasty with hardly any fat in the grill pan. The best sausages we have ever tasted! The next time we are in Moreton we will buy a supply for the freezer; sadly Warner's Budgens is not our local supermarket. We wish it was.KAREN CHANDLER
Thank you for your lovely email! I am so glad you enjoyed the sausages, I have forwarded your email onto Gill at Simple Suppers who I am sure will be delighted to read it!
Hi, We have recently spent a couple of days away in the Cotswolds and while we were in Moreton in Marsh we went into the Budgens supermarket. Now we have Budgens in the area in which we live south of London but NOTHING like this Budgens! the shop was beautifully laid out as were the dsplays of goods, the range of products and quality were superb; for instance we bought a pork joint which we ate on returning home that same evening and it was superb. On leaving the shop I remarked to my wife that I had never been in a Budgens like that to which she replied, 'nor me, I thought that I was in a Waitrose!' so praise indeed. is there a way that you can pass these comments on to the shop's manager and staff please. regards Bernard MillsBernard Mills
THank you so much for your kind words, hope you are able to visit us again soon!
Yesterday I bought a pack of Elegance Vine Ripened Tomatoes from my local Budgens store in Moreton-in-Marsh and subsequently noted that they were the SuperValu brand. rn rnI have noted in the past that you have occasionally sold other SuperValu items which has interested me as my daughter lives in County Dublin and her local supermarket is one of many SuperValu stores throughout the Irish Republic. rn rnOn reading the label more closely I saw that the country of origin was England, and I am writing to enquire if the tomatoes are really shipped from England to Ireland, packed in Cork and then shipped back to England for sale!rn rnIt would seem that Budgens now has a formal partnership-type arrangement with SuperValu as the label states 'SuperValu from Budgens' which is presumably because they offer good value for money; quite surprising as they are considered to be comparatively expensive in Ireland.rnJenny Dawson
It is great that you have noticed our new ‘own label’ produce in our stores. I will give you a little more detail around Warner’s Budgens and SuperValu, and how we work together, which I hope will explain things a little more.
All Budgens stores are independently owned, in our case, the owner is Guy Warner. The agreement he has with Budgens is that he will buy the majority of products through them, with a smaller percentage allowing him to source local products. This business model is also used in Ireland, with SuperValu and Centra stores being independently owned, and the owner buying products from SuperValu. The owner of both the SuperValu and Budgens brands is Musgrave. They recently took the decision to introduce SuperValu as the own label brand throughout all of the stores, meaning increased buying power, and therefore more value for money for our customers.
To answer your question – no, products aren’t grown in England, then sent to Ireland and then sent back here…. Now that the SuperValu brand has been introduced here, products are sourced and packed for Budgens in the UK.
You will begin to notice more advertising in-store about the SuperValu brand – with regards to cost, by switching to the SuperValu own label, you should save on average 20% on leading brands.
I hope this is of some help, and if you have any further questions – please do not hesitate to ask.
I like your fantastic web site. Just what I was searching for! Best regardshiit
The Taste Club is a wonderful idea. Although I have moved from Moreton, I still return to shop at Warner's Budgens. The main reason is that you support local suppliers. I have recommended you to 2 friends recently.J Stevens
Thanks for your kind words. It is great to hear you are still shopping with us!
Just bobbed in to Budgens to try and get a couple of batteries which had gone flat just as we wanted to use the gizmo's...... 6.30 pm Sat night. Budgens didn't stock them, and Darren, assistant manager, apologised.... Thought we had to wait until tomorrow, but no, Darren saved the day - he managed to find a battery of the right spec from somewhere, came out while we were at the till, and gave us the battery....... Fantastic customer service, which I wouldn't have got at Tesco.... Won't be long before you make Manager at that rate, Darren! ThanksDave Hollingworth
Thanks so much for your email, great to hear you got fantastic customer service, will pass your comments onto Darren!!
Myself and a group of friends were visiting Moreton in Marsh at the weekend, and just felt that we had to tell you how much we enjoyed shopping at your store. The range of wonderful fresh foods with the highlighted "local" specials was inspiring, and we called in again on our way home on Monday morning. Keep up the good work !Mrs Janet Kirtley
Thank you so much for your lovely email, and for taking the time to write. So pleased that you liked our store, I will make sure your comments are passed onto the store team. Hope you are able to visit us again soon.
lovely website, the hampers idea is superb. also the special occasion cakes look delightful!brandon parker
Thank you for your kind comments, glad you like our website.
Although we live in the far eastern part of Buckinghamshire we are regular visitors to Broadway, we even got married there! We LOVE Budgens, and my husband always makes sure he buys his sandwich and fruit for Monday lunch when we visit at the weekend. He can sit at his desk and dream of the Cotswolds! The store is so clean, the staff so cheerful and helpful, and many of the goods so unusual that it makes shopping a real pleasure. We really appreciate that you concentrate on lovely food and drink, and don't stuff the shop full to overflowing with stepladders, TV's etc. We love it all so much that we joined the Taste Club, and yes we do spend our vouchers! We would love to attend some of the special events, but midweek is out of the question as we do still work. But we are planning to retire to Broadway and then we will visit even more regularly. Long may Warner's Budgens continue!Karen Chandler
"What a lovely email to read on a Friday afternoon! Thank you so much for taking the time to get in touch, and for your fantastic comments. It is great to hear that even visitors to Broadway are making use of Taste Club!!
I will make sure that your comments are passed onto the Broadway team as they will be really pleased to hear what you say.
Look forward to you shopping with us again soon!
I was staying at Sutton-under-Brailes, and my friend asked me to go to Moreton, where she shops. I bought 3 bottles of impressive reduced wine, and biscuits. Putting two bottles in the bag, was not very clever, but the bottles crashed on to the floor, to my horror.Miriam O'Donoghue
Within two minutes, a lady, Geri, appeared, and a young man to clear the wine and glass off the floor. The young man was who looking after me was most courteous, and said, 'don't be upset, it will all be cleared up and I will get more wine!'
I cannot tell you how extremely grateful I was; and still am, and will look a Warner's Budgens store as near to London, as possible!
I have lived in several countries being Irish, but never I encountered such wonderful helpfulness, and kindness from the super staff members I met. Please convey my warmest thanks and good wishes to them on my behalf. It was a lesson to copy in every store. Thank you all once more.
Thanks very much for taking the time to get in touch. I am glad that our team were able to give such great service. I will make sure your comments are passed on.
Most important information? When are you open? Not immediately obvious on you web site. I must find another store then!Chris Side
Thanks for your email. Our opening hours can be found with the details for each store, at the following link:
I will pass your feedback onto our website creator.
On Friday 10th June, James Johnson who works at your Bidford store was so kind and helpful to me. I had hurt my hand and it was bandaged up and I was unable to drive my car. I came into the store and asked if you still did a home delivery service and if there is a minimum limit I had to spend etc. James said there was, but also asked if I lived in the village, so because I live locally he said he would waiver the charge this time as he could see I could not carry my shopping home.Elizabeth Guiances-Prego
I have to say that he was very kind and thoughtful. As it happened when I was paying for my shopping a customer behind me offered to take me home so I did not need to use your home delivery services. But I must say James is a credit to your Bidford store.
Thank you so much for your email, it is great to hear such positive feedback about one of our team. I will make sure your message is passed onto him, many thanks for taking the time to contact us.
I've lived in Moreton-in-marsh for several years now and I really value the Budgens supermarket. I am however confused to the stocking of fruit and vegetables. For a supermarket that prides itself on local produce is it really necessary to stock apples from Chile, Argentina and New Zealand? I know now is hardly peak time for UK apples, but you continue to stock varieties from France and Germany, which hardly have a radically different climate. British pears can be bought, but not apples which I find odd.Martin Lewis
It's not just apples though, as you were stocking British tomatoes a few weeks back, but now only Dutch and Spanish varieties are available and if you want a whole British cucumber then you have to buy two halves!
I can see a lot of good work has gone into stocking local produce, which I support, but it sends mixed messages when you stock food from about as far as you can possibly travel when other alternatives are much closer. Especially when you consider we are on the doorstep of Evesham Vale.
Otherwise an excellent store that I will continue to support!
Thank you for your email and taking the time to get in touch.
As you know we do stock British products where we can throughout the year and endeavor to support local producers wherever possible. I have been in touch with Hayles Fruit Farm who supply all our locally grown apples/pears and their apples will be available in August and pears in September. We are, however, currently selling their strawberries and asparagus.
With regards to the tomatoes and cucumbers, we like to stock class 1 produce, so where the quality is not quite consistent enough or the volume of stock is not available, we have to stock products from elsewhere. I was assured by the Store Manager in Moreton this morning, however, that the tomatoes are now British and this will continue throughout the summer.
Thank you for your kinds words about the store, I have passed them onto the team.
Can you tell me when you are open over the royal wedding and bank holiday weekend?Susan
All our stores are open as normal over the weekend. We are staying open throughout the Royal Wedding, and also open our normal hours on Bank Holiday Monday.
Moreton in Marsh and Bidford on Avon - Monday to Saturday 8am until 10pm, Sunday 10am until 4pm
Broadway - Monday to Sunday 8am until 9pm
Quedgeley - Monday to Saturday 6.30am until 11pm, Sunday 7am until 10.30pm
Tewkesbury - Monday to Saturday 6.30am until 9pm, Sunday 7am until 9pm
I recently visited your Moreton in Marsh store for the first time, twice in the same day, having passed many times previously. The first visit was early in the morning and I have to say that the first thing that struck us was the cleanliness of the store. the second visit was in the early evening when again, the store and the toilets etc were still immaculate!!!Julian Hemper
We did a bit of shopping on the second visit, (the first was to buy a coffee - great idea by the way). The choice of stock, the deli, the bread counter etc was really impressive. The level of stock was good, the choice good, the prices excellent.
Never before have we been so impressed with a supermarket, certainly never to the extent where I feel that whoever is at the top of your organisation should be told. We even noticed a member of staff helping a lady to her car with her shopping as it was heavy and awkward.
You have got this store just right, what a pleasure. You and your staff should be very proud of your acheivements. Well done!!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to get in touch, and it is great to receive such great feedback about one of our stores. I am so pleased you liked what we do. I have passed your email onto Guy Warner, the owner and he asked me to pass on his thanks to you.
I have also passed your email onto the store team who were really pleased to receive such great feedback.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Me and my wife have been living in Evesham for about 4 months and when passing through Moreton a couple of days ago, thought we would have a look around your store there. I must say the store is very well presented and organised and your collection of local products and offers is extraordinary. Since we have moved to the Cotswolds we have only shopped in our local Tesco, and the difference in custom is huge. Your staff are assets to your business; during our time there, we spoke to 4 members of staff, two had name badges on (Janette and Carl) and a young lady who served us behind the delicatessan with short blonde hair. The girl who served us at the checkout had shoulder length brown hair and was relatively short. All 4 members were very helpful and knew a lot about the products on the shelves. The young lady who served us was very friendly and happy to tell us about Taste Club and the 2 buy 1 get 1 free offers we missed. Me and my wife will definitely be shopping at Warners more often now. Please congratulate yourself and your employees on the excellent job they are doing and we will be seeing you very soon indeed.Maxwell Kline
Thank you so much for your kind comments, and for taking the time to get in touch. We hope you continue to enjoy shopping with us.
To cap off a particularly difficult week... hubby in hospital, general chaos I foolishly locked myself out of my car with all possessions, phone, keys, cash etc in the car on your Moreton in Marsh store car park. I was ably assisted by the wonderful Christine..who not only stopped me having a fully blown breakdown...not without a few tears..but exhausted all possible angles to try and find someone to get me back in. There was no compuncation in helping me and she went above and beyond the call of duty to enable me to get on my way. Many many thanks Christine for your clear thinking, caring assistance which sorted what I thought was an insurmountable problem...if you have an employee of the month I think Christine is definitely a first rate candidate.Alison Foden
Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us. What fantastic feedback about one of our Assistant Managers, thank you. I am so glad she was able to help you. I have made sure Christine and all the team in Moreton have seen your message.
Could you remove the gating near the entrance near the path leading down to the park at your Moreton store, it looks dirty.luke holland
Thank you for your comments. The gate you refer to isn't actually on our property so we're unable to remove it. We did make an effort to when we refurbished the site in 2007, but unfortunately to no avail.
A bit late I know, but we'd just like to say a big thank you to all the management and staff at Bidford for the sterling work in keeping the car park clear of snow and ice over the Christmas and New Year period, and also for keeping the store fully stocked during this time. Whenever we came in we could always find what we were looking for (including a few late Christmas presents!), so once again thank you very much for all the hard work - it really is appreciated.Rob Morris
Thank you very much for your kind words, and for taking the time to write to us. I will make sure that your comments are passed onto the store team.
To Mick and Damien, and everyone else who was so kind and supportive to me!Phillipa Gray
I had been quite ill for 2 days when I got the dreaded call from Tesco to tell me they wouldn't be delivering my weekly shopping.
I struggled out of bed and down to Budgens desperately hoping that
a) you would have some food
b) you would be able to deliver it as we still can't get the car out of our close.
Mick and Damien were both fabulous help and I am truely truely grateful - thank you all so much!
Thank you for your email. I am really glad we were able to help you, and that you were pleased with the service! Hope that you are feeling better now.
I would like to thank Guy and his team for the tremendous work done to keep the store up and running over the Christmas under severe weather conditions. I always prefer to shop here than Tesco's. Keep it up, especially the support of local grown food. Thank you and good wishes for 2011.Christine
Thank you very much for getting in touch. We had a bit of a challenge on our hands keeping the store going, but I am pleased to say we managed it, and it is great to receive your comments. It make it all worthwhile. Happy New Year!
I would like to say how much your customers appreciate all the hard work you and your staff did in the run up to Christmas. Every morning when we arrived to buy our paper your staff were hard at work with shovels and salt to make the paths safe for us. Later in the days, doing normal shopping we found our normal Budgens more like Harrods in the January sales! However, you counter staff coped with their usual cheeriness, they are to be congratulated. Let us hope that some of these extra customers will realise what they are missing in Moreton and become regular shoppers.Mrs Anne Brown
Happy New Year!
Thank you so much for getting in touch. Your words mean a lot, and I have ensured that they are passed onto the team. Happy New Year to you too.
Would you tell your team at Moreton they are the best supermarket I have ever bought from. Polite, always helpful and with a smile which make my day. They a real credit to you.Martin Alexander
Thank you for your kind comments. I have passed them onto the team at Moreton
Just to say what a wonderful lunch was put on by The Churchill PH in Paxford in conjunction with Budgens. It is always such good value for money and gives funds to the NSPCC so you feel you are enjoying yourself as well as doing a good deed. It was great to see Guy Warner enjoying the occasion together with his staff at Moreton. I use the Taste Club vouchers every month and find them invaluable. Keep up the good work.Kay Harris
Thank you for your kind comments, we thoroughly enjoyed the superb food !!!!!!! A great start to British Food Fortnight
Just a quick email to say that I had a wonderful day at the Moreton Country Show yesterday and whilst there visited the two food tents sponsored by Budgens. It was great to meet some of the suppliers of the produce I habitually buy from Budgens stores. A real testiment therefore to Budgens being a truly integral part of the local community. It's great that you sell and celebrate local produce and in turn, people like me feel they are getting fantastic local produce which is easily available. Keep up the good work. I love the ethics behind your business.Keeley Marvin
Thank you for your comments they are greatly appreciated and make the hard work worth while. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing the day with so many of our local suppliers and thought the Show was a really great event as a whole. Kind Regards, Guy
Hi, there are lots of pot holes in the car park and the zebra crossing needs repainting. Other than that your store is the best store I have ever been too, the amount you support local farmers is great! Well done!Luke Holland
Thank you for your comments. We are very proud of our store and will sort out the issues you have raised
Dear all, It was the first time I had ever been to Budgens and I was amazed at how much you support British farmers, mainly all the produce was sourced locally and there was a keen interest in the environment. I would like to thank Moreton in Marsh Budgens for helping our farmers in this economically downtime. I hope you expand on this amazing achievement.L Holland
Thank you for your comments - I will ensure they are passed onto the team
I am writing to praise the exceptional customer service that I received from Jack, last Saturday in your Bidford store. He certainly went the extra mile and was extremely helpful and friendly.Judith Stevenson
This was my first visit since the changes have been made to the Bidford store and I was very impressed with the local produce and with the attractive fruit and veg display on entering the store.
I have eaten 2 of the Cook's frozen meals that I purchased and they were delicious. It would have been so easy to pass them off as my own home cooking! They were nothing like the usual frozen ready meals in supermarkets.
Well done to all concerned
Thank you for your kind comments, We are very proud of the changes to the Bidford store and we are very glad that customers like youself are pleased with them to.
Kind regards, Guy
Hi, you used to sell Royal Duchy Ginger cordial, following an e mail I sent in asking for it at Moreton In Marsh. But it has vanished again, could you re stock? Or I see on the Royal Duchy web site they now do a PINK ginger cordial, please please please stock this at Moreton as you hve all the other drink range in Royal Duchy. Please reply and let me knowian johnson
Many thanks for your email.
I will look into this with the Store Manager at our Moreton in Marsh store and will let you know.
Just received your Autumn newsletter. Very interesting but nowhere does it tell me where you are or how to find you. I'm not sure everyone would have access to the Internet to find out so think you may have lost out a bit with possible new business. Suggest you ensure your address is on future newsletters.Steve Fisher
Thank you for your email. This is obviously something we have overlooked! We will definitely be including our address in future newsletters! Many thanks for taking the time to write. Kind Regards, Guy
I have been using Budgens for a very long time and as a farmers wife I am delighted to see all the local produce you readily sell, as I always buy British food.jennifer haine
Thank you for your e-mail. I’m really pleased you enjoy shopping with us and I have passed your comments on to the store team, may I wish you a Happy Christmas.
Kind regards, Guy
I should like to make a suggestion. Perhaps it would be an idea to fit some kind of guttering to the canopy at the front of your Moreton store. Often people get more drenched by the run-off when walking under that than the rain itself when walking across the car park.Linda Calvert
Thank you for your comment-it is a good one! We will look into the gutter issue and get something sorted. Kind Regards Guy
